Description

Coordinates lead to the reception area. Five free campsites, has grill area, picnic table & shelter. Wonderfully friendly people. Really quiet as no one knows about it yet. Dry bathroom. You can drink from the lake which is a 5 min walk from the campsite and it’s completely quiet and beautiful there. Really sheltered for your tent. Not sure if it’s set up for motor homes as there’s no rigging etc but worthwhile asking at reception because this place is a DREAM!

Beautiful, free campsite. Very clean toilets and a short walk to the beautiful but windy lake. Picnic table with roof, grill and wine shelter at each spot.

By far the best option in the Los Antiguos area.

Report Check-In

All as described, very quiet and peaceful, still free!

Amazing place… windy yes, but the toilets on the beach are very clean, campsites really nice too. No electricity. We were there with a big rig and manage our way through up to the sites easy. Lots of big rabbits, sun warming up in the morning. If you want a shower, you need to put a fire at the back of the toilets and you will get some not too cold stream after an hour of fire. Really cool place in such a harsh environment…

As previously described -- still free, park rangers super friendly and armed with maps of the trails in the portal. 5 campsites now, potable water in banos at the estancia. One other family staying when we were there. Very pretty landscape!

This campsite is part of PN Patagonia, rangers ask to please check in with them when arriving and when leaving. Information on hikes at the ranger office.
The park and the camp sites are all free.Pit toilets and no showers. Fogón available for roasting, you can ask for wood at the rangers office. It is motorhome friendly but be aware that the drive to the campsite by the lake is through a road covered by a tunnel of trees so if you are much higher that 3m your truck might scrape.

Report Check-In

As described. Absolutely nice place and friendly people.
It‘s also possible for motorhomes. The only problem are the branches of the trees on the way to the Camping Caburé on the lake. This could be a challenge for big rigs. Our camper is 3m high and it was just ok.

Really an amazing place. Saturday night and it is totally quiet. Just one other couple camping here. I can’t believe this is free!

3 free campsites and one refuge here, one has access by car and the rest you trek to I believe. Coordinates lead to the reception area. Completely free and has grill and bbq area, picnic table & shelter. Wonderfully friendly people and the national park even has somewhere to eat and grab an artisanal beer by reception! Really quiet as no one knows about it yet. Bathrooms are being constructed right now but there is a drop loo on site (no shower yet!). You can drink from the lake which is a 5 min walk from the campsite and it’s completely quiet and beautiful there. Really sheltered for your tent. Not sure if it’s set up for motor homes as there’s no rigging etc but worthwhile asking at reception because this place is a DREAM!
