Djibouti
Owner Lee is extremely friendly, speaks good English. Tell him Ken sent you (a local tour operator) and basic room is $40usd or 7000df.
Secure off street parking, free wifi.
Rooms have working ac and breakfast is included. Shared bathroom, basic and clean. Way better than Horseed for $4 more.
I didn't ask about camping, but the place would work if Lee agrees
Camping is possible, both rooftop and ground tents. No fixed price, negotiate this with Lee.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Camping is possible here. Lee took the view of "pay what you think is fair" rather than a set price. We stayed for 4 nights while sorting visas and would recommend it. Decent showers, mostly working WiFi.
Report Check-InIts a small Hotel from a Chinese guy, simple but clean. I think one of cheapest in Djibouti. But its clean and the Manager is a good cook
Report Check-InMixed feelings: couldnt get a lower price than 50 dollars a night (for 2 including breakfast). Even if you say Ken sent you.
Its one of the cheapest places in town, so you get what you pay for. Hotel is kinda rundown and not clean. Breakfast is very poor. Owners dont really care much and just watch videos on their phone all day.
Very fast wifi and nice location though, near the embassies, restaurants and beach. City centre is a long walk or 50 franc busride.
