We are a cargo van, parked near here on Calle Sinaloa at 24.149639,-110.331279 after dark for the Friday night, as Marea had an event with lots of vehicles parked on the street including past the gated pull-out. Slept fine, some passing vehicles and pedestrians as usual, nobody knocked. Unfortunately woke in the morning to find windshield had been hit forcefully once on the driver's side. Set of shoe prints, dress-shoe type, leading to the spot in the dirt. No other damage, nothing taken that we have been able to identify including small electronic item accidentally left in the cab. Feels random but deliberate.

Great spot to park for the night as it’s quiet but still close to the city (20 min walk or 40 pesos for an uber). Didn’t have any problems.

Report Check-In

Very quiet spot to park. I stayed here two separate nights. The entrance to the lot is a little rough.

There is a bike path right next to this location that leads all the way along to the beachfront, which I used.

I met a most likely homeless man hanging out behind the school. He seemed harmless.

I saw an improvised spear with a cloth grip in the building next to the school, so I parked closer to the hostel.

Stayed 4 Nights. Free. Feel safe. 23’ Class A. Pulled in near the old school. Watch pets for glass on the ground. Great cell service. Peace Hostel across the street provides great hot showers $50 pesos. Walk to Malecón. Love La Paz. Great food.

Seems to be an open community parking lot for the local businesses/residents. Stayed here for almost a few weeks. Never hanging out there only pulling up at midnight to sleep and drive off early morning. Lots of cars park here for work around 7am. I found nesting near the bushy trees in the back corner was a sweet spot. Felt safe as i made it a point not to ever boon dock there and only use as a sleeping place. Was a bit hot around this time. Great stealth spot as you blend in with all the other vehicles. Also a water “purificadora” direct ly across the street next to the peace hostel to fill up your water jugs, about 10 pesos to fill up 6gallon jug.

Report Check-In

Dirt parking lot of a abandonned school. Lots of vegetation. Pretty quiet and safe. Close to an another parking lot with fees. Unfortunately, lots of garbage also. In front of the Peace Hostel in La Paz.

We stayed there two nights and it’s was the closest free spot to sleep in La Paz.
