camped here Dec 7th 2019, was woken up by a police officer at 1 am and told no camping allowed. there was another RV parked beside the big rock but I'm not sure if they answered the officer. not sure if we were unlucky but just a word of warning

Report Check-In

The exact coordinates took us to a thin roadside on a cliff where it didn't look safe to pull over. Right before and right after those coordinates were large turnouts. Great Verizon service and a place to walk my dog. Both turnouts had signs prohibiting overnight parking but at that point we were too tired to go on so we took our chances and stayed. No cops bothered us, but the traffic was LOUD all night. Also, around midnight someone said through our open window "You're gonna get a ticket." Thankfully we didn't but we are moving on today and I wouldn't stay here again. I'm not marking this as closed because the exact coordinates didn't have a sign.

CLOSED! Showed up around 9pm and the place was full of vans, RV’s and cars. About 10pm a large group of disrespectful idiots showed up to do burnouts, smoke weed, and light off fireworks which inevitably got the cops called who ultimately kicked everyone out. There is one small sign in front of the rock (that is not very visible until the sheriff pointed it out to me) saying no parking 10pm-5am. Apparently they aren’t super huge on enforcing it unless a group of disrespect inconsiderate douche bags show up to ruin it for everyone. At least 10 other vans/RV’s had to move. What an incredible spot too.

chill vibes. lots of cars with people enjoying the stars in the dark. beautiful night sky here over the ocean, we pulled in with our vehicle & spent the night. minimal highway noise

Report Check-In

We've stayed here the last 2 nights (leaving during the day) and while yes it is right next too the highway so expect road noise pretty much till sun down and then again at like 5am....but the view and waves too fall asleep too are amazing! Woke up early today and even saw some dolphins and seals swimming by! Awesome spot! Did kind get pancaked in by some other Van's at night but they must be locals cause they were leaving when the sun rose.

Report Check-In

Great spot. One of the only spots that doesn't have any signs prohibiting overnight parking in this area along the coast. Spent the night with a few other vans and RVs. Kinda noisy until sun goes down but Pretty quiet after that. Some road noise but nothing to keep me awake

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights no problem! Can walk to beach. A bit loud during the day/night.

Report Check-In

Great views , can cook looking over ocean. Lots of partiers but left fairly early. Level and cops came in the morn and didn’t tell us to leave

Report Check-In

Nice level parking. No problem with overnight parking. Lots of people hanging out at sunset then they all leave.

Report Check-In

stayed here a Saturday night!

pro: next to ocean, good views.

cons: it was Saturday night so there were soooo many people. blasting music. cars coming in and out all night long. a lot of trash left from the night.

maybe a good spot during the week but not the weekend.

Report Check-In

Loved it. Can be windy but worth it. There are no parking signs nearby but not at this spot.

Report Check-In

Lots of cars were parked here but most of them were gone by midnight. Had a few noisy people stop throughout the night to check out the view. Far enough off the road that you don’t get vehicle movement from passing cars.

Report Check-In

12:11am flashlight, woken up by the police: “guys, you need to move”

No signs but we are obviously not welcome to stay here. Don’t get what we do wrong. The other ten over landers didn’t seemed awake... and the officer moved right away.

This place worked well right off the 1. Would stay again.

Report Check-In

Cops came through and shut the strip down at 23:30.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a night. We parked as far as we could from the highway and weren't bothered by the traffic overnight.

Report Check-In

50 yard stretch of gravel shoulder on the PCH. Great viewing spot for Point Mugu. No "No Parking" signs. Mildly noisy from car traffic, but nice to wake up next to Ocean and Mugu formation.
