Latest Check-Ins

We hung out in the state park for the day and slept on the street at night. I work remotely from the van and it was a great set up, toilets and water fountains to fill bottles. Park signs say dawn to dusk (around 8pm on this day). We were walking the dogs around 9 pm and two cops came to make sure everyone was out of the park, drove right past us though! But as everyone mentioned, the spot is LOUD. Cars flying by!! One of our dogs was uneasy all night.

You can day use the State Park for free. There is even 120v outlets on the lamps that we used to charge batts. Once the park closes at sunset you can park on the street. Yes is can get noisy, since ur next to a road. But the views and park are worth it!

Lots of easy parking. Very crowded, and vehicles go by at high speeds all night, rocking and rolling the van. I was honestly worried we'd get hit, and wouldn't stay here again.

Tons of parking spaces here. It was pretty busy because of Memorial Day - lots of picnics - but a relatively peaceful and pretty spot. I found a spot near a picnic table and portapotty.

Report Check-In

definitely go a bit further down to the small lot. more private with portapotty and more dim lighting

Parking on street allowed. Last comment correct- November to April restrictions (likely due to heavy snowfall in the area). The sunset view was great- park was quiet and safe. Traffic on the street was fast and it was a road frequented by ambulances- so a little loud overnight.

Report Check-In

Parking is directly off highly traveled road and many cars pass by at high speed (shaking our van late into the night). Would not stay here again unless in a pinch.
