Sara Lodge | Established Campground

Can not recommend this location. Booked an paid 38$ for a 50 square meter room via booking.com and got a max 15 one. And the room was whiteout heating and it was cold the last night. Breakfast was very basic. Just fries and scrambled egg, one Glas of juice and instand coffee. No fruits, no jam.
Also camping looks very basic.
Unfortunately it was foggy and raining all the time I stayed, so I can’t see anything.

We showed up unannounced and the whole place was shuttered. There was a horse in the yard and three dogs, but one of them was obviously starving and bloody. We fed the dogs and left.

Beautiful view of the surroundings, so in that sense it's a nice place for camping. But it's still under construction and not well maintained. Bathroom was not quite ready and far away from the parking where you camp. In the main building there is a kitchen and a dining room but we weren't allowed to cook in the kitchen. 8$ per person per night.

Nice place very close to Cuicocha. New. We did not spend the night here but the place is good for placing even big rigs.

Beautiful lodge, amazing views, they receive all travelers. They just opened, don’t have prices yet but is worth the stop! Much nicer than the entrance of the park

Hermoso lodge, imponente vista al valle, reciben viajeron de todo tipo. Abrieron hace unos dias y todavia no tienen precios, vale la pena venir a conocerlo y dormir antes o después de visitar la laguna cuicocha.
