Something not right?

Description

Grassy area to camp with power outlets, next to the road so it is a bit noisy, so try and camp as far away as possible. We were in tents and it was nice enough except for the semi trucks going by all night. The rooms at auto hotels apparently rent by the hour, but there are not many places to camp in the area so we stayed anyway. We didn't see any other customers.

Do not go here. We did not have a good experience here.

300 pesos for the night, for electricity hookup after 5pm. This is not a nice place, not sure why a previous commenter said it must have been once really nice.

Beggers can't be choosers! grand for 1 night. There is a dump station but no water. either non or potable.
stepped outside for about 10 mins and was eaten alive, but we're coming from the North mountains so this was our re-introduction to mosquitos. place has plenty of room though, the the man did offer electricity connection. Didn't see the toilets there.
anyways! as bleak as all that sounds, Its perfect to split a long drive up and there's nothing less than 2hrs further east.
oh! the price is now 250. poxy Inflation!🤣

200pesos for two people, truck and dog. They opened a room for us for bathroom and shower. There's not a lot of options on this stretch, but it's a safe option for the weary travelers. A little road noise but it quiets down at night.

Alright place, still camping on a grassy lot behind the hotel.
We paid 300 P per night.
Primitive bathroom, but hot water.
We had a bit of road noise doing the night, not to bad.
Looks like they once had a great campsite, but it's all overgrown now.
Electric was fine.
They do have a dump spot, didn't find any running water.

Stayed one night. The name is Condado not Coronado.

Easily accessible from MX180 with lots of parking room for big rigs. Levelling needed. Beautiful shade trees but unfortunately loud road noise detracts from peaceful-looking surroundings. No wifi. Water non-potable with low pressure, sometimes no pressure. Electric and dump stations. No nearby sights or walks but Tuxpan is one hour away. Banos basic, did not use, locked in morning. 150Pesos per night. Stayed two nights. Friendly staff, some English with boss.

Report Check-In

We didn't stay here, but wanted to suggest Avoiding Tuxpam. cops are waiting for big rigs to go through city! Road is awful !! Giant holes, in the so called road, and the cops are crooked!

Found this place in the Church book. 150 pesos per vehicle. Grassy area to camp with power outlets, next to the road so it is a bit noisy, so try and camp as far away as possible. We were in tents and it was nice enough except for the semi trucks going by all night. The rooms at auto hotels apparently rent by the hour, but there are not many place to camp in the area so we stayed anyway. We didn't see any customers anyway. Bathrooms are okay, but the showers had so little water pressure so we used our solar shower instead. There is water available from a garden hose.
