Very good mechanic they do services on our Iveco 4x4 truck (all oils engine+ tranfer+... , filters) change break pas, changes transfer box bushes (made new ones). All for a fair price and during this time we were in safari... And we communicatif with whatsapp. Pitu is very profession al and helpful. Thank to him and his team

We stopped by this garage to have the oil changes, filters, and a few small parts of our Defender replaced. Pitu and his team do a very good job. Prices are totally fair. Very satisfied with their service, and on top of that, Pitu is easily reachable via WhatsApp, which reassured us to have had good contact with him before going to his garage.

Look for the tlal blueish/grey metal gates.

My new alternator installed in Zambia was rubbish. This garage was quick in determining the issue, and found a genuine refurbished one. Had a slight issue with the first replacement but we got it swapped out and all is fine. Charged very little for time, and nothing for when we had to nip back the next day with a related issue.

I Came to Pitu with a weird clunk sound that I ignored for many km, he quickly took the car to test drive and identified the problem accurately (wrong bolt who was installed by an unqualified mechanic).

all the process was conducted in a very efficient and professional style..
Other garages would probably jump on the option to try and replace everything and charge you for the luck of their skills and knowledge.

Pitu and his team work miracles, after a year long overheating problem on our Prado, many garage's in many countries Pitu found the problem and cured it. Reasonable costs and professionally carried out I would definitely recommend Pitu and his team to anyone.

Very good workshop. Pitu, the owner, is very friendly and helpful with a lot of knowledge about 4x4 cars.
The mechanic team works quickly and the prices are very fair. You need to bring your own spare parts. But a good spareparts shop is almost next door. Pitu can help you and is in contact with the spareparts shop Gupta. We were there for two full days and never had to wait. In emergency cases you are alloweed to sleep in your overland truck in the save workshop. There are toilets and a shower.

After visiting more than five workshops for the same problem (a strange sound) we went to Pitu. Pitu diagnosed the issue and found the issue on the same day! Instead of just shouting to replace a part (like all other workshops did). Pitu knows how to diagnose by trial and error to find the problem. He breaths car mechanics (raised in the workshop, studied automotive engineering in Malaysia). Pitu was quickly able to source the spare part (more than 5 the same day, and received quotes from dubai and japan). He has a great network! Unfortunately none of the 5 spare parts were to his standards, which we really appreciated: He wants a proper fix too!Finally we jointly decided to source the part from Europe. While waiting for the spare part, Pitu invited us for drinks and lunches. When the spare part arrived the car was fixed the same day. It is simply the best workshop we have been to in Africa! Professional and an inventive problem solver. Something you really need as overlander.

We went to Pitu’s garage for a general check up of the car after driving from South Africa.
Piti and his team are very professionals. They managed to spot used bushes, suspension joint damaged and small leakage from the steering rack.
For our VW transporter it’s not so easy to source parts. Pity has a very good network to find parts. He is also inventive and can fabricate some when feasible. Overall it’s the best garage we visited in Africa. If you are looking for a sustainable repair and fixing your issues from the root. Whether you have a old or brand new car this is the place for you!

We had to do an oil and oil filter change. Pitu and his staff changed the oil and the filters quickly and without problems. Pitu is very responsive when using Whatsapp.

I paid TSH20.000 for the service. I bought the oil and the filter at Guptha around the corner.

We went to Pitu’s on a short notice to check some things that were left unchecked in a basic maintenance service by another workshop, like brakes (!). We got very efficient and professional service with our Defender Puma 2.4. Pitu’s staff checked the underbody thoroughly, too. And changed the front brake pads in no time. Good service and reasonably priced. I would recommend this place for Defender owners. Pitu’s communication in Whatsapp was also always very quick and helpful.

We sourced Ferodo break pads from Gupta’s that is right around the corner, they had good brands, too. So if you need spare parts, that is your place to go.

had to replace the air-con pulley on our Tdi. Both Sameer and Gupta didn't have the parts. We went to Pitu and he found us the parts & installed it. We're happy with the job 👍👍

Nice garage! Its your typical outdoors, dusty, African workshop. Work was done fast and the guys seemed knowledgable and were creative in finding solutions. Got a quick response on whatsapp from Pitu.

You’re probably cheaper off if you buy the parts yourself at nearby Gutpa autoparts and let Pitu install them. We got quoted 30% more at the workshop, if they provided the exactly same parts & brands.

Good work by Pitu and team on our Landy. Oil change, welded roofrack, welded chassis, fixed some door fitings, and overall made sure things were right and secure.

Highly recommend Pitu and his team. Came with a motorbike that had some sheared frame bolts and Pitu drilled them out, sourced suitable replacement bolts and put everything back together perfectly. Takes real pride and care with his work and is extremely reasonable with the cost. Wish I could find such a mechanic back home!

Pitu Mechanic, exist from 1972 (family business). They only work with real parts and they can fix everything!
The owner can speak English very well and the responce time is fast. Beside that they show the proof of real parts.
That give you a good feeling. Because in Africa the people are not trustfull at all.
