Something not right?

Description

We spent the day here. Direct access to the lake. Very clear and clean water. Perfect for stand-up paddle. We did not stay overnight but it looked safe to us. Just a couple of roads from the main road. Place for one or maybe two small rigs.

We spent one night here. Very safe and quiet. We didn’t swim but the laguna seems to be nice.

This not the most beautiful place to sleep, but it is really convenient if you want to do kayak. The night was quiet. There are some others place to camp for free in the village near the laguna but finally we choose to stay here since the weekend local people are enjoying the other places.

Spent 1 night here. Right to the lake and a boat ramp so it was for our kayak. The laguna is soo beautiful, and the little island in the middle as well. Quiet at night though there was music in a house near by we could hear. But once inside the van it’s ok. We felt safe there.

We've spent 2 nights here, very quiet place at night, you wake up with the rooster around. Some families came here to swim, some couple or group of friends come to spend a quiet evening near by the Laguna. Small restaurant next to El Abuelo really nice with access to the Laguna as well.

approached by a guy wanting to see my driving licence soon after I arrived at dusk. He didn't look official so I asked for his ID - he sent his friend off for his 'card', then admitted that he wasn't police but would call the police.. He was very concerned with people staying the night and leaving rubbish, saying last time there were beer bottles and other bits left all over the place. I showed him my bin and said not everybody was the same, but that I would leave.

Two minutes later he was back, inviting me to stay in his cabana for the night, saying he was trying to start a business but struggling to get bookings, and I could help him by reviewing it in the morning.. he was quite insistent. I declined and left - spent a peaceful night at Laguna Bonanza up the road instead (though was woken in the morning and charged $50 for staying)
