Description

Nice place right next to another camping area. There is a refugio behind it where you can use cooking facilities. 4000 ARS p.P. in Feb 2024, no extra charge for a vehicle. Fast WiFi, electricity, hot showers and a big kitchen included in the price. Fresh bread available (1$) in the morning and food whenever you need it at very good prices (caneloni, pizza, empanada).

We stayed Here for two nights, its only 5000 peso per person per night! Lots of space and a nice kitchen area!

Report Check-In

Nunca pague adiantado.

Report Check-In

Nice lady at the reception, 10 USD for electricity, showers, toilets and a community kitchen. Rooms available

Report Check-In

Accueil très sympathique. Eau chaude. Possibilité de recharger en eau. Salle commune chauffée. Bon wifi.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for one night with a Sprinter. Very nice people indeed, relaxed atmosphere, many other travellers. The shower was warm, could have been a bit warmer. They said that water in the kitchen and shower is potable but it had a yellowish colour?! Wi-Fi was fast close to the house, especially in the morning when some people were still sleeping. We paid 4000ARS pp.

Report Check-In

La encantada is one of the nicest campgrounds we found so far in Argentina! It has a common space with kitchen, hot showers, really fast wifi (in the house of the owner) we were able to upload a YouTube video in 30 min! Host offers food at really good prices and fresh bread in the morning. Only thing is that the grounds are a little uneven and muddy. Liked it a lot!

Report Check-In

Really nice camping, with wifi, hot showers, shared place where you can cook and spend some time. Sheltered from wind.
You can get there by taking the "combi" (white van) that goes around the city (look for letter C in the traffic signs, and make sure they can take you to the Andorra valley), and then walking a couple of meters. It's 4000 pesos per night. Really worth it!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

True, the campsite is actually a parking lot that can be crowded. But the advantages of the place make up for it.
Adriana is a great host. The camp is located about 2 km from the beginning of the route to two lagoons, Encantada and Tempanos and Glaciar Vinciguerra.
The bus service to the city is excellent (free).
There is a laundry service, 3000 pesos for 5 kg.

Report Check-In

Good camping, the owner is kind and comprehensive, she let us park the van the day after while we were doing Laguna de los Tempanos without paying anything. Also she wash, dry and fold your clothes for 3000 Ars the bag, and I think that's pretty fair :)

Report Check-In

the wifi here is so slow, it is completely unusable

Report Check-In

Really nice campground! Big Heated lounge/kitchen area. Best hot showers we have tried. A lot of space and plenty of toilets now. 4000 per person. We stayed here for Christmas and the owners hosted a big bbq for everyone. She also makes delicious vegetarian empanadas for sale.

Report Check-In

Nice camping near Ushuaia. We stayed here for 4 nights which were cold and wet. There is a common room with a heater and cooking facilities. the bathrooms are new and there are now multiple for men and woman. price is 4000 per person.

Report Check-In

The price is now 4000 pp. Open until late and the owners seem to live on the property. Friendly welcome. Nothing special, just a gravel parking lot big enough for any vehicle. No water tap, just a hose with water from a water tank.

Report Check-In

A good place in Ushuaia, compared to other CG. Banjo is brandnew and clean. 3000 ppn.
family operated and friendly.

Report Check-In

I thought our reception was friendly, a little girl showed us around like she had been doing it for years. little shop available for snacks and drinks. there is only 1 toilet for the men and 1 for the women's and this place is quite large so I can see this becoming a problem when full but when we were the only ones there this time of year. scorching hot showers with good pressure. sink available for washing dishes has hot water too but not allowed to wash clothes in it. no spigot available for filling water tanks but we just used a rubber adapter on our hose and filled from the sink in the women's bathroom. lots of electrical hookups to plug in. there is now a heater in the refugio/kitchen area. a very steep but short walk to the river gets you a lovely little meadow area. Bus, the old German shepherd here is a little protective of the house, but got along fine with our 2 dogs.

Report Check-In

Okay campsite, the camp spots are flat on soil, with shade/sun options and wind protection. Terrain itself very muddy. Toilet/shower facilities for women: great, really hot water, good pressure, seemed clean. Men: shower terrible, toilet always occupied (only 1 for whole camping) didn’t feel clean. Common areas were not heated at all, 10’C inside toilets and refugio. We felt bad for the campers with tent.
Staff at reception was not that kind. She didn’t want to provide potable water for our camper; making up excuses like not having a hose (we have one), it was just greedy. We had to sneakily fill everything in bottles. No WiFi. Safe, Not so quiet at night, dogs barking.

Report Check-In

We arrived and were told dogs were ok but as soon as we left ours get out it was chased by the big one the owners had. I tried to make him go away but he didn't and scared me if i tried more. I then called the owners to have them call it back at least to let mine come out from under the car but they just said that theirs didn't like dogs which were not small and didn't lift a finger to help. We decided not to stay and pay 2000ars per person to have our dog stay in the car all along and went to the municipal campground further down where we spent a good night as it is indeed very sheltered from the wind.

Report Check-In

Clean, hot showers with pressure available from 08:00-23:00.
Small shop with also fresh pan casero, empanada’s and pizza’s. Be aware that vans, cars and motorhomes have to be parked very close to each other, but the music and outside activities stopped at 00:30.
Steep hill to dive down to campsite, probably slippery when wet.
Beautiful river down the hill, looks like there are trails there as well
2000€ per person
Very friendly people who speak English

Report Check-In

We spent one night, new bathrooms - two toilets and one shower for women and one and one for men. Enough space for vans. 3500 ARS for 2 persons and car with a rooftent. Quite sheltered from wind. There is a shared kitchen and place for a rest but during our stay no heating and it was super cold.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite a bit outside of the town. You can use the bus to the town, which runs every 30 minutes until ~10 pm in the evening. All facilities as described. Wifi is not the most reliable, as usual, but it exists and has an acceptable speed. There is the opportunity for some walks right outside, for example down to the river. We paid 3.500 ARS for 2 persons and a camper, quite expensive, but I guess that's Ushuaia 😬

However I don't recommend the place as they rented their community room for a party, so we had noise from 10 pm to ... We left in the middle of the night. It really is a disgrace, to expose campers that want to sleep and pay a lot of money for the campground, ON PURPOSE to such noise, in order to maximize profit!

Report Check-In

We stayed a week in our motorhome-van. the owners are really nice and speak english. there is still one toilet und one shower - but right now in the low season it is absolutely no problem. we stayed for 5 days alone at this place. electricity and wifi available. the place is quite far away from the town but you can you the minibus c1 + c3 for free!! who starts 50m infront of the campground. in 15 minutes you reach easily the town and a big mall with supermarket. we were happy at this place, they cleaned the toilets every single day, you can use a kitchen and make a campfire. for us it was a relaxing, quiet place

Report Check-In

300 per person per night super friendly family hot water good WiFi common room with kitchen shower toilet sink for laundry.
Also acces to a river and few fire pit for barbecue. Close to the town but quiet and near to food shop . Super place

Report Check-In

at this point we can't recommend this place at all. to be honest it was one of the worst camgrounds on our 6 months bike trip. better stay at the free municipality campgrounds. the owners are nice but that's about it. when we were staying there over 50 people were staying on this campground. but there was just one toilet and one shower. totally unacepptable. there is as well just one refugio which is as well for so many people to small. as well the cooking facilities are not made for such an amount of people. the other big problem is that when it's raining the whole ground is under water and its totally muddy. they made some improvised platforms with some wooden paletts but they were to small for our two person tent. so we had to pitch our tent on the muddy ground. everything was soaked the next day.with some effort and if they would limit the people who are staying there this could be a nice place.

Report Check-In

1 bathroom & 1 shower for the whole campground. Muddy, small Refugio where you can cook, but also everybody is drying there stuff inside...
would definitely not recommend.
charge 300 ARS.

Report Check-In

During high season, it seems this campground can be very crowded but doesn't have a plenty of camp space for vehicle. And it has only 1 shower booth and 1 toilet..!! It was raining when we stay here, so the ground was muddy. Campground has some grassy space but almost everywhere was very muddy to walk. Make people very annoying to go to bano. We saw car stuck even in the parking lot

Report Check-In

Its alright. Sites can be a little muddy or you look for a spot in the woods. Quite far to the center but on the other hand you can start your hike from here right away...

Report Check-In

Welcoming and friendly campsite. Tents and smaller rigs generally, but large rigs would fit (the entry is a little steep so maybe check it out before you drive down). $300 pp/pn, shower hot, kitchen/refugio cosy and clean.

Report Check-In

Great site, has all the bases covered - 300ARG for a single👌.

Report Check-In

Excellent site 4km approx out of town but very near to the start of couple good walks - one to Glacier Strongly recommenced Our 7m overlanding truck accessed easily and ample room Host very helpful allowing us and another camper to run power from the house Nice camp kitchen and whilst only 1 shower and 1 Toilet they were clean and working and the showers hot despite having continuous use Heavier rig like ours (6tonne) need to be aware couple of soft spots Internet very strong as we were near house and worked the 3 days we were there. cost us 300 pesos pp 2 friendly dogs Neighbourhood seemed fine Few dogs barking at night Wind protected site There is also a house with private rooms , kitchen etc 800 per person - 3 bikers were in one room and couples in cars in the other 3 rooms as well as numerous small tents amongst the trees

Report Check-In

300pp. One shower (hot) and one bathroom, with tp. Refugio with kitchen. WiFi was good. Two friendly dogs. A bit muddy if raining, but it was easy with our 2wd to go in and out. Far from center, and the neighborhood isn’t that nice. Felt safe though, and owner was friendly.

Report Check-In

Very friendly and helpful owners. Cabana/refugio currently (04/2019) under renovation, so no common room, but they let us wash our dishes in their kitchen. Shower and toilet are clean and hot water is available. Wifi only works close to the building of the owners. Generally a very nice place, but for 2wd vans it's very difficult to enter/leave when it rains or snows.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice spot, new looking bathroom, thoughtfully constructed. Friendly helpful owner. Great base for hikes to Laguna de los Tempanos (Vinciguerra Glacier) and Laguna Encantada - trailhead is just up the road. Only small issue: Lots of barking dogs. Bring earplugs for sleeping. Still way nicer than staying in town though, in my opinion.

Report Check-In

Nice place right next to another camping. There is a refugio behind it where you can use cooking facilities. 250 ARS p.P. in Feb 2019, no extra charge for van. A little steep and muddy to enter for our kombi but not a big problem. The owner provided us with an extension cable to easily plug our van.
