several unofficial camp sites in this part of Cozumel, not really easy to find information but eventually we did. There are about five or six sites with pull outs in this area and the road is one way going north to south. reasonable cell signal. some of the sites are ok for bigger vehicles, others are not. tents ok but there is people traffic on the day so probably only really safe overnight.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Still possible to sleep here quietly with a nice view, although we found at least 5 better sites on the opposite side of the island. Forget about snorkeling unless you have a very low level of expectations.
Report Check-InAmazing place!!!
they are not pull outs, but small streets to the ocean. we found two.
first one is little north from here and very small. this iq the second one with two spots for cars and vans. no big rigs.
snorkeling is ok here. be prepared to fight musquitos!!
in the morning police came by. checked the papers of the car. very friendly. told us its ok to sleep here. left after one minute.
would recommend this place!!!
