Easy to get to, while still feeling “out there.” Maybe it fills up a little more during the spring, but only one other rig out here with us. If you like collecting rocks then definitely don’t pass this up, Safford is known for its fire agates. Coming up 191 from San Jose, skip the first sign for Black Hills. Go up a little further and you should see a second sign, take that left.

sweet spot, found a small pullout a bit past this area that was further from the people here.
Report Check-InGreat place to boondock, absolutely quiet. Not many others around, several spots to choose from. Enjoy!
Report Check-InSpent two nights here. Stunning views, easy to get to, very private, and fun to go hunt for fire agets. Cell service with ATT has been in and out. No amenities, but it's free and there is one garbage can.
Report Check-InSurprisingly nice boondocking area on BLM land with several sites in a beautiful landscape. Very quiet, easy access on a good dirt road, no armenties but a trash can. No cell phone service.
