Lovely little campground, easy access off road, with 16 sites all surrounding a lake so nice open views (3 alligators in residence). Just simple pit toilets and picnic tables. Fireflies at night. We had a peaceful number 16 on the far side, more a tent camping site and on the other side from the rv's which we were grateful for as an inconsiderate rv ran his generator non stop till 10 pm - don't people realise some people seek peace and quiet when camping - should be banned in campsites!
Report Check-InNice campground in Big Cypress National Preserve. Basic spots with fire rings and put toilets. Lots of birds and bugs. Some hunters but mostly empty.
Report Check-In24$ for primitive sites. No amenities only pit toilets available. We did not stay
Report Check-Inreally nice primitive camping, some hookups for rvs, though we used a tent site and car camped. camp host was very nice and friendly. pit toilets, no running water. pets allowed on leash; there's a pond on site and an active gator population. 24$/night, apparently you can reserve online but we drove up and got an available site. very beautiful and very peaceful.
