Interesting place. Tidy, well restored, decent bathrooms, signs in the interpretive center are Spanish but signs on the site have English as well. I arrived at 3pm on a weekday and was told it closed at 3:30. Enough time for a walk around. There was no mention of an entry fee.
Report Check-InLooks like $60 entrance now but they had no tickets so let me in for free! I slept in the carpark the night before - the police rocked up at 11.30pm and weren't too keen on me staying here, suggesting I went to the Pemex, saying it wasn't necessarily the safest town after dark - eventually said I could stay at my own risk. I did, all was peaceful.
The unlocked toilets in the car park are not, in fact, toilets! They have some onsite though once the gates are open.
Report Check-InNeat ruins. Hours are 10-4. We took a shower at the pemex then headed down here to sleep in the parking lot. It was fine. No one bothered us. Quiet after some big fiesta at the plaza stopped about 10 pm.
As we left just as you enter town, there is a water bottle place you fill garafons. 10 pesos. On the ruins side of the street.
