Peru
Great little intimate bar that seats about 15. We entered to an empty bar with the owner sitting next to his guitar and bartender alone at opening (21:00). They greeted us very warmly as if they were waiting for our arrival. We chatted about the name of the bar (Great story) carnaval, and a bit about the region. Shortly after he asked if he could play us a song, which we of course obliged. We were floored at the talent of this musician, a true veteran of music who obviously plays and sings daily. Shortly after the bartender joined on bongos and singing, then a friend showed up to lead some tunes and solo. Slowly the bar filled with groups to which he paused and greeted each as warmly. This was a truly special experience full of interesting conversation, great music, and pisco sour.
Note: s/10 entrance free p/p
