Something not right?

Description

having driven around the area & been extremely disappointed with the options we asked about this place. Behind the school over an acre of flat parking with double gate at the entrance. The guy in charge is Arturo, who also works at the museum, the museum is closed Mondays & Tuesday & the entrance has a chain across. fees are supposed to be for the school, paid $100 /night/day for large truck camper with 2 people. Close to beach, restaurants with pay showers & bathrooms & some shade.

Latest Check-Ins

lots of waste, dog pup everywhere, lots of dogs and barking, less shade, shaby cars on the place, the entrance not too easy for bigger rigs because of trees and parking cars in the road, they change the policy for parking, 100P 12h day time, 150P 12h night time, so 250P 24h, in our view to much for this shaby place, but you can hear the waves, nice Lady collect the money in the late afternoon with recipe, money belongs to the school kids

I stayed here six weeks. 100mx per vehicle per day raised to 150mx during my stay. On the beach side of the lot are a few tamarind trees providing good shade. The lot is used by day tourists, a local contractor, and campers like me. Money is collected by school staff and goes to the school. A bathroom and bucket showers may be available, ask the school staff. Area felt safe.

Stayed here 1 night. Elias is very nice, collected the 150 pesos. There is bucket toilet and bucket shower if you need.
Calm and you can have shadow under a big tree all day. Mosquitos at night. You are 100m from the beach. Best location in Mazunte

Report Check-In

Stayed here two nights. Convenient to restaurants, downtown and the beach. Elias was the fellow who collected the fee. I didn't find the toilets or shower.

Telcel signal is 2 bars. The beach restaurants have great WIFI. For the price of a beverage you can use it all day. The bar, across the street, goes silent about 11ish. The usual dogs barking. The local rooster will wake you at sunrise. Mosquitos after sunset.

Report Check-In

After we went to three other spots wich where all close we came here. Flat simple area but quiet and safe. Good for the night. 100 pesos per camper. No wifi ( but good service), no bathrooms.

Close to town and the beach.

The street to the place is narrow but the place is big rig friendly!
