Description

We were looking for a good place with WiFi as the other decent campsites providing this service were closed. Highlights here are definitely the big private pool with fresh and clear water and with lazy chairs as well as the fast WiFi in the seating corner. Showers (cold) and toilets are clean with toilet paper. Well-equipped kitchen. Very friendly owner and manager. Very helpful too. Owner speaks very well English. We could park in the backyard on a kind of a parking lot, which they are going to upgrade to a real campsite with extra water taps, some shade etc. Electricity available. Big rigs might have an issue to get in. Problem could be length/width, not height.
Our camper is 6m by 2,3m and it wasn’t a problem. 7000 pp. all included. On Sunday there is some military shooting exercise behind the campsite. Not sure if that causes any discomfort.

Before we get in Peru, was a good place to rest, clean the “house”, wash clothes, and make everything else we needed. The place wasn’t so organized but there are good electricity and potable water. As mentioned before, for big rigs, more than 8,5, the entrance can be a problem. Our rig has 7,6m, so wasn’t a problem. We arrived on a Tuesday and we are alone here. I asked for a place to wash our rig and the manager told us that he can wash for CLP 10.000.

Stayed 5 nights. A lot of other places were closed.

After being at the other campings in this dusty/trashy Arica town I can honestly say I think this is the best campsite (out of all the worst) The place is mainly a hostel with a very large and clean swimming pool, outdoor area, kitchen, bbq places, okay-ish WiFi where you can have a nice relax time.
The place for RV's is in the back and like written before isn't great, you're next to the house of Juanco which is one of the employees and the area is a bit trashy. They still ask 7.000 CLP per person which I think is really fair for the given. Pancho is the other employee which helped me greatly with ordering some stuff for our camper off Mercadolibre which has been a great relief. The site has two dogs and one cat, which are funny enough eachothers best friends. There is a small mini market just in front which has the basics. Can recommend!

We spent a night here. We spoke with the camping owner, Antonio, over the phone before going. The area we camped with MH was not very pleasant - without shade, with a lot of trash and bad smell - I believe they could be under renovation.
But the common area is very cool and organized! Antonio is great person and a great host. We paid 7,000 pesos per person.

Liked the place and the staff. Tent camping in a nice spot. However can’t recommend for the simple reason that the dogs urinate on the tent (4 times). Very annoying. Stayed three night despite the dogs.

As others have said.. this place is expensive for what it is for campers (I came with a tent and it cost $8 peru night sin todo. It's $2 extra to use the kitchen (they also failed to tell me this and I hadn't read the other reviews) and the tent area is in a sandy narrow stretch. They have 2 dogs that (without exception) peed on every part of my tent. The dogs also have fleas so I now have bites all over.. very fun. There is no bus into town from the suburb so it's either a long walk, a hitchhike or a pricey uber. There is also nothing except a tiny tienda in the area.

We volunteered at this place and got fired once the job was done, that let you imagine the atmosphere of this place. It is in our opinion really expensive for what it is. You have one bathroom with hot shower for all the rooms/vans/tents. Otherwise it is cold showers outside. It is 6000ps/person. And the place to park for vans it’s not a proper parking. Is a the back of the place with no water or bathroom nearby and no electricity access. And the beach nearby (3km away) is not suitable for swimming. We would recommend to stay at a free parking near the beach insteas.

Nice place with a surf vibe and nice owners. Really quiet in winter time but must be really cool in summer with the swimming pool and ocean not far. The price of 8us$ pp is without using facilities inside but you have access to clean toilets and showers near the pool.

Super friendly and helpfull staff, really quiet place. The common area is pretty pleasant, the parking is just a dirt parking with no shade. Cold shower (but not freezing cold), clean sanitary, pool, wifi. Prices have just been updated, it is now 10 us$ pppn in you use the facilities, 8 us$ pppn if you don‘t.
