Botswana
Small leisure park with a big grassy campground.
Several sites are shaded, each with a wastebin, braai and tap.
Directly close to the campground is an enclosure (11,500sqm) with 5 lions.
Campers can use all amenities in the park (big clean wave pool with water slides, some carousels, lions,...) WiFi only available at the office, not in the campground.
The park during the week was visited only in the morning by a few pupils with their teachers.
At the weekend, it might be different.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful, the owner, too.
140 pula pppn.
Washing machine 20 pula.
Everything is absolutely clean and well-maintained.
We definitely recommend!

We stayed here numerous days, as we had to wait for a spare part. Big grassy area for camping, also paved pitches with shade. Always hot water. The park is busy on the weekends but it was not very noisy and as soon as it gets dark they close up. Bar and restaurant. Many birds.
Report Check-InWe stayed for 1 week so that we could sort out our internet issues to be able to work online. We paid 600 pula for 2 adults and 4 children (we asked for a discount for a week stay) which included all rides and viewing of the 4 lions in the enclosure. Our favorite was using the massive bath tub in the ablution block. Washing at 20 pula a load. Wifi only works at the conference centre. Mascom is the best network to use in this spot.
Report Check-InCamped here one night with the sounds of the lions roaring nearby in the lion enclosure, probably to keep the 3 degrees C temperatures at night at bay! Hot showers were OK and the electricity was working fine but the wifi is only usable at the thatched roof bar 200 metres away. It was quiet when we were there but because it is primarily an amusement park could be very busy & noisy especially at weekends. Take precautions with valuables at all times. Good for a one night en route stopover. Pula 120 pppn camping.
Report Check-Invery friendly and helpful staff. perfect ablutions.power point and water. toilet waste discharge point indicated
Report Check-InAwesome place to chill after your border crossing. P120 pppn. Campsite is spacious, showers, toilets very clean, and above all you can enjoy a good swim in the wave pool, waterslide, etc.
Report Check-InIn winter season the park is only opened from thurs-Sunday. The park opens from 10-17 and then everything becomes quite again. That means it is very quiet mon-Wednesday as you are still allowed to camp. It is a strange place but in a good African/Botswana way.
Report Check-InVery friendly, 240P p2ppn, good Wi-Fi at the restaurant, laundry 20P have to buy a coin, no dryer.
