Coming from Cotahuasi Canyon via Charcana you need to go this way to Pausa. At least at the moment it is not possible to drive the AR 603 northbound to Oyolo. We asked a local and he confirmed that the gravel road via Corculla and San Jose de Ushua is good to drive. Actually road works are going on here and the whole road is being broadened - it seems the northern way of the AR 603 is no more maintained.

We took this road from Oyolo to Cotahuasi (via Chatcana). We asked in Oyolo and the locals, and they told us that it is the best road. It is paved now, pretty narrow, mostly one lane, and in good condition.
