little turn off from rt 52. Take the site road to the village patacal. along the dry river bed are some nice spots for the night. the people here are very nice. a great alternative to the loud and crowded Purmamarca. despite the big road is close, it is very quiet at night.

Still a good place to overnight. didn't see the firepits, but the track following the river downstream is blocked after ~200m. still, we camped just at the rock barrier and had a nice, quiet night. 3-4 people passing by in the early evening or after 9pm, just waved hello. Beware if you travel with a dog, a goat herd passed us at some point, with their Shepherd dogs... very nice sunset and sunrise :-) added a picture as there was none.
Report Check-InVery nice spot and even pretty flat in some spots. Certainly more than ok for a night. Very peaceful and quiet, which was a great surprise since the city was hectic at all times during this carnival period!
