Guy running a small hostel or homestay up here. there are some nice views. very expensive though with 50 for the night and 20 for a basic meal. If I would have known that I definitely would have camped.
he also offers camping don't know how much that is.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Stayed here for the night in my RTT. No charge. There are bathrooms & ducha available. There is on-site restaurant too. You can drive past here but it is very steep and if tgere is opposing car coming, no way you can cross. Definitely 4x4 plus high clearance. ait took me 2 hrs to get here from main road. Afternoon clouds, views only bright n early. Hike to Cerro Kennedy from here is 1 hour. Leave the site at 4 to be in tgere for sunrise. After doing it not worth it as they do not let you go past the Military base to the highest point.
Report Check-InIt tool me 2 hours to get here from the main road. I have a 4x4 but AWD did it for me. Definitely need high clearance to make it here. Stayed overnight here. Cerro Kennedy you have to leave at 430 am to see the sunrise. Late morning it gets cloudy. Photo attached.
Report Check-InMuy bonito lugar, para caminatas ecológica, vía difícil para motos y carros que no sean 4*4.
Report Check-InDorm bed 60k

Also beers, snack and other stuff for sale. There appears to be WiFi but I didn't use it. Go up on the roof for a view of Santa Marta.
