All roads are fenced off, so little options for bush camping. The road this way is quiet, no cars passed after sunset. Perfect place to stay overnight and go into the park early morning.

Overnight parking beside C27 4 km south of Sesriem. Closest free camping option to Sossusvlei. Ok for a night, few cars. Very slow MTC-Signal (E).
Report Check-InGood place fir an over night. Used this for two evenings to save the cost of the campsites which are around the N$200 to N$300 pppn, plus the N$150 to N$185 pppd Park fee.
Wind can blow a bit but I had one perfect evening with no wind and the next evening Serious wind at around 2 in the morning.
The gravel area between the toad and the fence alllll along this road is nice and wide so you can be nice and picky about where to set up camp.
I would use this spot again 🤘
A definite to go into the park and walk both Dune 45 and Big Daddy Dune.
No Wild camping allowed inside Sesriem.

Stayed here the night before entering sossusvlei. Only 2 cars passed by after sunset. The spot on the other side of the road is a little nicer, but had many flies.
