As they is no spot between the mine and the road 5 junction, we found this spot of the road to the Park. No facilities but safe and quiet, 500m of the main road.

Arrived at 5:30 pm, left at 8:30 am. Had a quiet and undisturbed night. Nice view on the dessert. There are several small inroads to park your car and/or put up your tent.
Report Check-InWe stayed around this place for one night and we absolutely can’t recommend it, but maybe just because of bad luck and the wrong day.
Normally I would say it’s a good place for staying overnight while being on the way to somewhere.
Anyway we put up our tent in the dusk. A little later a truck came the way without its light on and driving by. It was strange but we didn’t thought about it anymore and went to bed. But then there were driving cars up and down the street probably to and from the truck, all without it’s light on. And then one of the cars stopped at our car (at about 10 pm) and 3 men came to us walked around our car and then spoke to us while we were in the tent. We didn’t understand all. They asked where we were from and for how long we are staying. After speaking to us they spoke to someone on a walky-talky, seemed like asking for what to do.
Nothing happened to us but we didn’t feel save at all and were frightened.
It’s just an assumption but it felt like they were smuggling or doing other criminal things.
As I said it could have been bad luck but just be careful around here and if there are cars driving without lights!
We had to stop on the road because of a technical issue with our van. The spot is quiet, we saw no one during the night. 3g worked more or less.
Report Check-InLittle area of rocks sand and dust just next to the small road leading to the ruins. We arrived at 18:00 and left at 11:00am next morning and we saw absolutely no one, heard no noise except the road a few hundred meters far away. You are in the middle of the rocky desert, nothing around except a beautiful sunset, sky full of stars...
