Report Check-InArea with water views is next to the North Causeway boat ramp and parking lot. There is a bathroom and cold water shower and this place also might used by the Marine Discovery Center. Quiet night and saw dolphins.
Report Check-InAs a female traveling alone I found this place to feel perfectly safe. Stayed in a SUV I have outfitted for boondocking so I did not use the nearby bathrooms and only used the spot for sleeping at night as I was in town visiting people as I lived in this area for 21 years and moved away a couple of years ago. Beautiful view in the mornings of the intracoastal!!! I stayed every night for six nights with no issues at all. There are very few "boondocking" sites in the area and I did not want to try to sleep in a parking lot of a store or at anyone's home.
Report Check-InAbsolutely perfect spot! Bathroom just across the parking lot. Dolphins playing in the inner coastal water as well as a giant sea turtle. Highly recommend!
Report Check-InStayed here last night. Had a great spot, quiet and beautiful to wake up to. Right on the ICW. There was a boat parade last night that drew a crowd, but everyone left by 9.

Report Check-InWe just pulled past the white fence where the “pay parking” signs are and parked under the tree right by the water. Didn’t have any trouble, and didn’t see any other vehicles until the next morning.
Report Check-InQuiet from road noise by the water. We stayed on the grass area by the white building. Looks like there are signs for paid parking there but we weren’t bothered. The cold shower is outdoors.
Report Check-InStopped here last night, no problem quiet, two other small van and a truck stopped overnight. Parked Near the river on the grass in front of the white water waste facility house, West of this huge parking lot and boar ramp. Some people coming back from kayaking on he river in front of me.

Report Check-InLarge dirt/grass lot BEHIND lots of pay to park areas and a boat ramp. We came on the edge of the water where there are no signs for pay to park. Had no issues, was pretty quiet. There was someone camping with a fire and all and he has no trouble either. Bathrooms are open 24 hours with a water fountain outside + there’s a cold shower. Stayed here in a 22ft camper, big rigs could fit. Plenty of space for dogs.
