Overlanders from the Netherlands, that wants to travel to Ethiopia, needs a letter of invitation.
The embassy will not give you this letter, but instead will give you a letter stating that they will not give a letter of invitation. This is good enough for the Ethiopian Embassy.
Be sure that you made a appointment in for hand.
They don’t let you in without.

In addition of our previous post, you don’t need to pay for the letters (Sudan and Ethiopia). The process only takes 5 minutes. And best of all is that you can park your car at the Embassy.
