Beautiful campsites on the lake, water, bathrooms, picnic tables, fishing pier, wooded and quiet.

Gravel parking lot with no amenities, no signs providing camping. Stayed one night after hiking the beautiful lakeside trails with no issues.
Report Check-InWe had a beautiful site on the lake for 2 days...very quiet. A few hunters staying here too. Very picturesque with small bayou/tupelo trees in water. No fires allowed at this time. Free in national forest for 14 days.
Report Check-InGreat place. Worth the drive out here. I was worried I wouldn’t find anything because it’s a popular time to camp, but this place was most completely empty. The turn onto the road seemed a little odd so I’ll share with others - no you aren’t turning into the church parking lot, that’s the actual road to get to the camp. It’s worth it.
Report Check-InAbout a dozen sites. There’s a little building that looks like a bathroom but I’m not going in it. There is a bear-proof trash container. Hoping I don’t see any bears! Wikipedia says they are in Louisiana in the alluvial valley which is not here. Arrived around 5pm on a Thursday and we are the only ones here. A bit rough as in piles of branches between the sites and the lake and it hasn’t been cleared or mowed. But as a no-charge campground I can’t complain. Edit: came back 06/07-09. Still great!
Report Check-Ingreat free spot for the night. pretty crowded in late February but it's right on the water and has bathrooms/trash cans, but not the best Verizon/AT&T
Report Check-InAmazing free campground, had 2 bars of Verizon, water spigots and pit toilets. Stayed 2 nights and only a handful of cars drove by each day
Report Check-InNice remote place with about a dozen spots on a lake. It was nice and it was quiet. And free. boat launch real close. Bonus for me, someone left a bunch of firewood.
Report Check-InPretty cool free site, lake on one side swamp on the other so lots of bugs and wildlife. Water and toilets were working. I noticed only one, maybe two sites that would fit a rv but it’s not crowded so you’d have a good shot at it.
Report Check-InNice free campground. It has bathrooms, picnic tables, and running water. Several sites can accommodate a camper or RV up to about 40’.
Sits on the edge of Corney lake. Lots of bullfrogs and immature cypress trees. There is access to the water so bring your canoe or kayak.
Very peaceful campground. Doesn’t seem to get a lot of visitors. Get your supplies early. The closest store is 20 min in Junction City and the local grocery is expensive. There is a Dollar General which is reasonable but not a wide selection.
Report Check-InBeautiful campsites on the lake, water, bathrooms, picnic tables, fishing pier, wooded and quiet.
