Signs say no overnight parking. There was also a patrol car there so we moved on.

Great spot. Good fishing too. The trucks can get loud during the day entering the road but the young eagle in the nest above my rig made up for it.

Report Check-In

So many dead fish. :(
But pretty spot. Lots of teens coming by to take pics & smoke. Stayed a night with no issues!

Beautiful spot right on the bay, however we did have a sheriff come and talk to us at 10 PM (our first knock in 6 months on the road). He said this is a construction zone on weekdays and you are not really supposed to camp here. He let us stay because we promised to leave early and he had no suggestions for where else we could go. I'd say stay at your own risk, the sheriff was nice and lots of other people haven't had any problems.

Nice spot. It was pretty quiet during the night despite being close to the road. We were here with two other cars. We all left early morning, around 7am when two guys came and started taking very loudly. Then a truck arrived and brought container or something. It looked like some construction work was about to happen. If you leave, turn left on the road and on your right side you will see boat ramp area with toilets and picnic tables. This is when we had our breakfast ;)

Small, private, easy to find, perfect for us.

Stayed 1 night in a converted Ford van. Arrived after 6pm as it is less than .5 miles from Lovers Key st park.
It is located right off the highway and bridge so there is road noise. Right by the water so nice view.

Spent two nights here- a Thursday and Friday night. Cooked dinner discretely Thursday evening and just car camped on Friday, no problems. Couple of nighttime fishermen gone by midnight and a few post-midnight pull-ins gone by sunrise. Didn't see any posted signage about closing at dusk. No amenities, just quiet and peaceful with a few other boondockers Friday night. Dolphins and starfish in the morning. Quality spot! 👌

Super night there ! :) We were two rigs of great people !
We spent the nigh and then we were in 2020 !!! :)

This is in the park and there is a sign saying hours sunrise to sunset. We stayed here with no issues. It is close to road but not very busy late at night.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot next to the bay. Great view and plenty of wildlife. Saw dolphin, heron, ibis, egret, sandpiper, Pelican, crab, fish, rats, and a 6 ft rat snake. No seeums were pretty bad. Bring bug spray. It's near a busy road but traffic died down midnight to 8 am. Popular night fishing spot but the fishermen were relatively quiet and we weren't disturbed. Parking is free with no amenities. This seems to be part of Lovers Key State Park which closes at sunset so...

Nice spot by the water. we were able to sit out for a bit before it got too cold. woke to some other vehicles, people likely here for fishing. no one bothered us.
