Costa Rica
A local indigenous community there. Friendly and really interesting people would host you if you take some tour with them... And you definitely should!! It is a different experience from the main tourist activities in Costa Rica. Cultural tours are diverse and all really interesting (chocolate making, petroglyphs, cascades, traditional carving, ...). Plus they offer meals with them in their houses at night. Highly recommended!!!

we stayed here for two nights, 10.000 colones 2 people. 7000 colones 2 simple meals. very nice place, in the jungle, quiet and a pity that we do not speak enough spanish. Jeffrey can tell you everything about his tribe. there is a petroglyf rock behind. also nice possibilities to take a walk. Clean and well maintained, with a few cabanas and a community room with tables chairs and kitchen
very nice!
Nice place to spend the night , on the small cabinas or on the roof tent , there’s a parking lot where we’re authorized to spend the night . Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to stay for a tour - arrived late and left early- but the manager , which is a member of the indigenous community of the place , is super welcoming and could give you tons of informations about the history and the culture of his community.
Water, electricity, towels on the cabins.
