We did research at 3 accommodation options in Arba Minch (Paradise Lodge, Emerald Lodge and this lodge)
This hotel is the better of the 3, due to the spot, the price (Paradise $15 pp) and facilities.
Haile Resort is brand new, just open for 7 months.
100 rooms, restaurant (cold drinks, smooties you name it), swimmingpool, spa facilities, playground for childeren.
They have wifi in the rooms, lobby and restaurant.
You can camp on parkingspot number 3.
If you have a tent you can use the grass behind the signing ‘ parking 3’.
Toilets and shower needs to be arranged yet, but you can use the toilets in the hotel and showers are at the spa.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Wow! Nicest hotel we’ve seen in Ethiopia! Very upscale and new.
The girls at reception didn’t know what to do with our camping request, but eventually the manager of the manager came up with 700 birr for a night at the parking number 3 - we got the price down a bit. But we found it still too much for sleeping on parking space between cars. If you want a decent shower and toilet, this is the place to go though!
Report Check-InVery nice people at the front desk. New hotel with a nice terrace overlooking the lake. Shower can be used in the fitness center, toilets in the lobby. A bit expensive but worth it. Large, partly shady parking. We were standing at the back of the vegetable garden. Liked the place very much, go for it!
