Late August, there was 10 hippos sleeping in a mud pit. Sadest hippo pool we have seen in Africa but its there. Probably a lot more impressive in the wet season.
There is more places to stop along the Mara south of here with a bunch of crocs and more hippos than here.
Dirty toilets but it's there. Oh Africa...
