pulled up with international plates, attendant said they don’t have system for international. we asked to fill up jerry can she said no problems at local price but added 10bob tip which is more than okay :)

wouldn't sell me gas, said she needed a photocopy of my carnet. there was an official pouring gas into a measuring container to make sure all pumps were pumping correct amount so maybe that's why? had a moto taxi driver get me a few bidons and tipped him 10 bob

Received local price into tank. She said plates don’t work and I said that’s how it always is. They usually use my ID and that was that. Friendly.

We could refill at local price of 3.72 bol/liter straight into the tank. We bought as well some nuts to the kids assaulting us when we arrived. It maybe helped.

Because of the previous comments we just pulled up here in our car. We asked what the price was without a receipt and she didn’t understand. It seemed like the first time she’d been asked. She would only charge us tourist prices so we left. Judging on everyone else’s experiences you’d be okay here if you get a different attendant.

After i played dumb the friendly attendant filled up the tank (50l) directly from pump with local price.

they asked for 5 bolivianos per liter instead of 3.75 which is local price. They told me thats the price for foreign plate wirhout factura. Pumoed straight to the bike.

Cameras installed also. Only tourist price available at the pump. Maybe you could get a different price with jerry cans but we didn't try.

Filled 50l into jerrys at local price. Be sure to check though - she started to make a fuss after the cans were full because we don't have an id number. We tipped 10bob.
