AMAZING spot just out side of hochatown/broken bow. Close enough to town to check out all the shops and restaurants(I recommended Mountain Fork Brewery). This campsite is very private. Down a very well maintained forest road. Site is located in the Outchita National Forest. Very level. Could fit multiple rigs if you’re traveling with a caravan. I have a low cleared 2wd car and had absolutely no problems coming down this road unlike other sites i checked out in the area. Im a solo female traveler and felt entirely safe the whole night. Its creek side and a fire ring. Honestly there was not much in the way of trash here and what i did see was mostly paper products that i burned off. The whole 24 hours I’ve been here 1 vehicle has passed. Its right off in a valley between a few rolling mountains. I had no encounters with wild life. Im from the outchitas over in the Arkansas side so im aware there are black bear in the forest even if i didnt see them, so practice good food storage methods. Make sure to leave no trace. This is such an amazing site so close to hochatown and i really hope no one destroys the peaceful escape you can get here. You could possible get a big rig down here, I don’t see why not. No electric or running water. Only natural source there is a gap in the trees if you use solar I’m sure you could park in a way to get you some sunlight. I have At&T and ive had 1-2 bars of cell service and LTE. I could facetime with my dad this morning just fine with no cutting in and out. Lastly, make sure to always LEAVE NO TRACE! :) happy camping!
