Something not right?

Description

A dozen or so informal sites along Big Wood River with two pit toilets and some stone fire rings. Free. A peaceful place to stop for a night on your way through. Head up the dirt road from the campground and there are some great views of the mountains around Sun Valley to the north and some informal camping along the road.

Good spot to spend the night on the way to Crater of the Moon. Some noises from the road, but nothing too loud that I could not sleep. The sound of owl and crickets at night were definitely a plus. There are plenty of spots and it was clean. Lots of mosquitoes though in the summer - so plan properly.

Nice little campground that's free. has a few pit toilets. There is large flat areas for motorhomes and tucked away spots near the trees for tentsor vans. The area is clean due to a camp host that looks after things at the moment.
Still has a 10 day limit.
cellular is ok. I have a mofi and it works fine with Verizon here. Don't know about other services.
The camp host has worked hard to clean up the, let's all help to keep it that way.
The town of Bellevue is tem miles away and has everything you need, even free dump and water per the cities grace.
overall, a nice place to take a break from traveling.

Beautiful free campground just off hwy 20. Plenty of spots for rigs of all sizes, and you can get pretty far away from the road if you are bothered by the light traffic.

It is definitely not a quiet spot. Maybe the previous people arrived late at night when highway traffic was less and left early?

Easy access to a pleasant free site. Good for a night's rest. Some noise from the highway but bearable, but at night quiet.
On the sign it say a maximum of 30 day stay, don't think it's enforced by the look of all the abandoned trailer and tents.
