Description

Parking along Ruta 9 just out of Puerto Natales and near the water. Calm at night. We were here in March and not much traffic was going on. Good sleep!

Très bel emplacement. Un seul autre véhicule avec nous. Vue magnifique, beaucoup d'oiseaux et d'oies. Les vagues font beaucoup de bruit la nuit.

Beautiful place (very durty). many campfires, and many locals during the day but quiet at night !

Beautiful spot. Some trash, but was able to pickup most of it in 15 minutes. There is a big rock for wind protection, make sure you walk the grass before you pull behind it as locals build fires around the rock and there was some broken glass and metal in the grass. I don't recommend coming here on the weekend. We had a group of locals show up at 12:30 AM and start blaring music and drinking until about 5 AM.

Amazing views of the lake. We camped here with our rooftop tent. Decently sheltered from the wind behind a big rock. There were no other people. Only a few locals, but they left at 9pm.

Great spot to spend the night. We stayed here for two nights (on the way to Torres del Paine and on the way back). Cold water, but nice for a cool swim (and to wash yourself). There is also a nice 2-3 hour hike with a great view!

Really awesome spot! Views are beautiful and super quiet at night. As others have said locals come to chill here but everyone spaces themselves out and has their own spot. No phone reception but there is a spot of 4G, couple km from the lake. About halfway between the turn off and the lake if you need it. Enjoy!

Great quiet spot on our 1 night stay Monday evening. not much wind for us and only saw one other vehicle in the morning as we were packing up. plenty of spots for multiple groups/vehicles flat ground abundant for tents. fair amount of elevation change from 9 so may be strenuous detour for bikes.

This place is marvelous. A little windy, just hide behind one of the rocks. Locals come to chill in their cars, but they do not disturb you. The view on the lake in the morning is priceless

Nice spot near the lake, but be aware of the wind that might come up at night. We parked behind a big rock so it was a calm and comfortable night, but wind was strong around us. On sundays chilean families come here for barbecues and to spend the day here.

So beautiful! Last locals were there when we arrived, but the furthest place down the beach was free, there behind a big rock we found good cover in case of wind or other visitors. It was not to windy that night. Later one more camper arrived (and one in the night). The morning it got filled up by locals it was because it was Sunday. Highly recommend the place, the 7km unpaved road is worth it.

Beautiful and peaceful place, we were alone at night. During the day a few cars coming to enjoy the view or people going hiking. Leveled spot, not easy to get protection from the wind. Good place for tent too. Very clear water. No cell reception there.

Very quiet. No wind this day but there isn’t a lot of protection on the parking. It’s beautiful :)

On a summer weekend there are hundreds of locals here. Don't expect to find a quiet place. Good for swimming.
