This brewery participates in Harvest Hosts. You pay an annual membership which gives you access to thousands and thousands of wineries, breweries, museums, and golf courses around the country that allow you to camp on their property. Anywho, it sounds like this brewery let’s folks camp on the gravel parking lot either way.
We called ahead since my experience with Harvest Host breweries/wineries is that you have to call ahead and actually reserve a spot. I usually find that part annoying because when you’re on the road you don’t always know when/where you’re gonna end up and don’t always have service. Anywho, the 1812 a brewery seemed pretty laid back about ‘making a camping reservation’. They said just show up. We enjoyed some beer, the food truck, and live music but opted to go to Greenridge State Park instead since there are so many nice spots here and it’s a 23 minute drive form the brewery.
Nice brewery. Decent beer. Cool history and space.
