We parked on the street across from the police station as it seemed like the safest place for street camping. There's a few restaurants around too. Not too busy, not too quiet.

As we didn't find secured parking, we asked the police if we can camp here overnight. It's not very level but we had a quiet night here and its probably reasonably safe.
