The road down is narrow and brushy, dodgy for large vehicles, too steep for trailers or large rigs. Camping is on a trail that is for non-motorized use and locals get Angry about campers due to people craping in the bushes -- come with a portapotty or wag bags. Seems like tenting is okay. Driving on the trail in either direction is not cool. There's talk about closing this place down so treat this beauty spot with respect or we'll lose it.

Superb spot! If you do take the left side of the trail near the lake be sure to have a high clearance 4x4.

Report Check-InUne très belle place, le chemin pour te rendre est ok. très belle vue et calme, assez loin de la route.
Report Check-In10/10 recommend. A few spots. You’ll see a road that follows the lake. Don’t go down it. It gets narrow and hard to turn around (borderline impossible). Instead take your bike and go down. You’ll find a site with a fire pit and big trees 10 min down.
Report Check-InVery nice place. One premium spot with firepit and perfect view! Overall there is space for 3 - 4 vans.
We were not able to find the place from the last comment with benches etc.
The road down is steep and narrow. But there is one good spot (as someone said, first come first serve). We met a lady who is part of the conservation of the area and said she is ok with a few people coming to the spot but it’s been a lot of trouble for the locals to have big obnoxious groups.
Report Check-InSuitable for small rig or 4×4 cars only !!! We tried to go there with our 24' motorhome but the access road is really narrow and very steep. Would not recommend it . That said the spot seems great if you manage to go down..
Report Check-InWe brought our offgrid trailer into this location. We may have gone further down the path/road then mentioned in previous posts. Beautiful location though. Past visitors have built a table area, there is a fire pit, awesome views and right on the Slocan Lake. A great tent spot for sure but if you have a small off-road trailer and vehicle it is definitely doable. Only cons would be the trail being so close and not a lot of coverage for bathroom breaks, also the area is pretty shady which is not so great for the solar panel. The highway is also close enough to still hear but for just our first week out this was an awesome spot for a couple nights.
Report Check-InThis place is great. Pitched our tent right next to a little stream that led out to the lake. Basically had a whole section of the lake to ourselves. Fire pit here too
Report Check-InGreat wildcamp spot on lake Slocan, just of the road. Many wild fruits along the path, such as apples and raspberrys.
