Stayed in spot 9. The campsite was actually closed with the pay station taped up so we didn’t pay. No gates to keep you out. Opens in late May I think. Nice secluded area, no bathrooms near this spot.
Report Check-InNot free. $16 per night + $8 per extra vehicle. Small campsites, long bumpy dirt road. Check out 2pm. Not recommended given the better spots nearby.
Report Check-InAwesome little spot.... get here early... it’s a free area with a double pit toilet.... it’s on a lake... fire pits... 7 official sites.... but I’m sure if you show up and meet some other the campers they would probably share their fire pit with you and make room for another tent
Report Check-InStayed 3 nights while we did Yellowstone.
Nice enough campsite with good toilets. Everytime we arrived all the sites were taken but we just parked in the day use area by the toilets as we were leaving at 6am every morning. Others did the same.
Lots of mosquitos.
Caution - we saw two different bears everytime we entered and left the campsite. Please be bear aware.
Report Check-InGreat place not too far from Yellowstone. Fills up quickly in high season. Tons of mosquitoes.
