great little spot. nice rock. beautiful view if you climb the rock (and just from the ground)

Report Check-In

Yes it’s beautiful and a dream camping spot! We had no issue climbing the sandy hill with our 4 way drive truck.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot to camp, definitely got stuck for a moment coming in but 2 cardboard boxes Uber my tires got me out and up the hill, slow reception from Verizon but still service; beautiful rock formation and view. Driving a 2013 FWD Toyota Prius.

Report Check-In

Continue on the sand road past Camp Dream to an even better spot that is less windy, has a fire ring that is wind protected by an overhanging rock formation and has a really cool red rock arch.

Report Check-In

Great spot near the road, some noise but it dies down later at night. Great view. There's a bunch of glass everywhere, so be careful if you'll be barefoot. Someone seems to have left a couple of couches here next to the rock. Made it up fine in 4HI in my 4runner but it was a little damp from recent rain. If it's dry, the sand would definitely be very loose, so use caution.

Report Check-In

Camping spot near a large rock. As mention previously, lots of glass and someone has been burning wooden pallets. Lotsa Nails in burn pile. I camped further down the sandy hill.

Report Check-In

Nice place, you can hear traffic nearby and also dogs barking off in the distance but not bad. Definitely soft sand getting here so be careful. We managed to make it up in an AWD SUV without an issue. Super cold at night in November but that’s expected.

Report Check-In

Lots of pull off dirt roads along Hancock. However, most are soft sand and would require 4wd. If you do not have 4Wd, would recommend walking any potential roads before driving down them. Many nice spots, some road noise.

Great free camping on BLM...very sandy. Not many people around. Beautiful and peaceful spots.

Report Check-In

Great spot! Nice views and a couple of fire pits around the area. Close to the road. Road can get muddy so avoid if there’s rain in the forecast

Report Check-In

very nice spot in forest, on the top of a big dune, nice rock, because of the sand it's better to have a 4wheel drive !

you can heard the road, but it's a nice place to visit the red slot canyon (spot locate opposite to the main road)

Report Check-In

Lots of glass but great spot with cool view. Room for 5-6 rigs.
