A great, quiet spot next to the clean river. Easy access for 4x4 but without will do as well. A farmer comes and greets at times, there also might be a few, friendly cows grazing the grass meadow. You can hear some cars passing by on the road, but there are few and because of the river, it’s not bothering at all.
Nice and tranquil place. Drive down from the main road, muddy path. Once down you will arrive at a grassy field. Good place for putting up camp.
When we where there we decided to drive a bit further up. Leave the grassy field at the opposite of the entrance. Drive through the dry riverbed, take a right up the bank after 200 meters and drive all the way up to the bend in the river. There is a grass patch where you can park. Flat space, loads of firewood.
Very nice spot. It was very quiet and the river is clean and great for a refreshing moment. We would have stayed if it wasn't raining the next day.
Note: the 200m down to the river are quiet muddy when it's raining, so that might be a problem with a 2wd.
Beautiful place but unfortunately there were three local men drinking there and annoying us. At the end, they were so drunken and we were so annoyed that we left the place.
Our favourite type of camp, mountains a babbling river and a camp fire! we stayed for two nights. The farmer, his wife and young daughter came to see us and said we we were welcome to camp.
