Pretty cool camping if you have a tent, but I came here with my van. I dont know what "van friendly" means but its a parking.. they were friendly about me in my van, hooked on the 15amp, for 280 pes a night. However, this is not an RV or van place... no shadow or hookups don't come here.

Called but did not stay there. Price is 280 pesos per person (even for kids, even for dry camping, thus did not stay). Tried to negotiate 600 for the 4 of us but did not work out. Too bad, took our business somewhere else.

We stayed here because they were listed on Harvest Host. We tried to make a reservation ahead of time but didn't get a response to our request. When we arrived the women at the reception desk didn't know what Harvest Host was. Eventually we got it all straightened out and our stay was free.

We spent some money in the bar which has a lovey view of the mountains. The showers were hot. There is a pool, a climbing gym, and a community kitchen.

When we were there there was lots of construction going on. They were digging a new well and working on some buildings. Camping for tents is lovely - a big open landscaped field. Parking for RVs is less than ideal. It is just a gravel parking lot and not very level. This place is great for climbers who spend weeks at a time here.

The road to the place is very rough. I wouldn't come here with a large rig.

The owner is very nice.

If you have kids there’s a gym room with a climbing wall and giant cushion

We stayed just the one night. At 560Ps (US$28) for 2 persons in a car camper it was easily the most expensive campsite we've had in nearly a year of travelling around Mexico and USA. And for that all we got for a campsite was a gravel parking lot. No grass, not even our own picnic table.

In addition if you don't have the exact correct amount it appears to be an issue as they don't have the ability to give you change without a protracted procedure. Try to use your credit card instead to make it easier, that will be another 5% thank you very much.

The central outdoor area is large and lovely with a pool and grass and hammocks. The hotel block is down one side. But no trees for shade. We tented there for 2 weeks in 2017 for 200Ps/n. So prices have increased nearly 200%. There were no tents this time and only one other camper as it appears that the focus is now on running ERS as a hotel for flyins.

Although if you do want a quiet place to stay, it is likely this will be your best option as all the other campgrounds are close to EPC which is renowned for being noisy in the weekend.

Nicest place in town for climbers with great facilities (even a climbing gym). The owners are very friendly and a good social vibe so easy to find climbing partners. 280 pesos/person to sleep in the car on the parking lot. Some discounts apply if you stay longer.

Really nice spot near the mountains for climbers, hikers and overlanders. seems they recently expanded the parking area because they can easily accommodate big rigs now. setup to encourage being social, huge kitchen with 5-6 stoves and lots of eating space. rooms looked nice too

Nice place with clean hot showers, potable water from a mountain spring, community kitchen and great view of the mountains. Not too far from town. Good for kids. Nice grassy area for tent camping. Mini orchard of figs and limes which owner shared with us. Everyone very friendly. 120 pesos / adult and 80 pesos for our 12 year old.
