Great little spot along the coastal dirt road. Many overlanders here enjoying all that this part of the cape has to offer. An absolutely beautiful beach and even better when the wind is low. Great little surf break near the rocks with some super fun waves. Can get busy on the weekends. There is a surf bar serving cerviche, sushi and poki bowls opening on the north east corner of the arroyo. Go up and say hey to the boys working up there, they are super friendly and enjoy a chat and a beer. There is also a friendly donkey that enjoys a pat and some food scraps. Be careful if you have pets near the donkey. We loved this spot! Kept on coming back. No facilities.

Came for 1 day, stayed for 6 it was so peaceful. Weekend crowds come in for all the amazing restaurants. Places closed mon/tues. great spot and surf. Tons of urchins
Report Check-InUnfortunately, a group of people are coming here daily complaining about vanlifers despite everyone being super respectful. Their reasoning is we are taking up their surf morning parking spots. They kept going on and on screaming/ranting saying they lived here 20yr and we are the problem, etc. Supposedly they took photos of our vans and are going to call the cops. One of the men is the owner of Lateral so I would avoid giving money to that place. Very sad that prople think they now own parts of Mexico. They are the problem in Mexico, not the lovely welcoming Mexicans. It totally ruined the vibe for me here, won’t be coming back even though that makes them win.. I guess.
Report Check-InThis is a really nice spot, but the locals (Mexican and gringo) are getting upset with the camping. The bar owner is upset that his patrons can't park because the vans are taking up too much room. They think we are leaving trash (I haven't seen anyone litter, but if there is litter, the vans get blamed). They don't like that a camper asked a local not to drive by their camp and kick up dust.
If you come, it's probably a good idea to take extra beach trash with you when you depart and to stop by one of the restaurants (but not Lateral...that guy is rude) and let you know you're camping there and spending money.
Report Check-InNice spot near the beach. Quite even though there is quite a few campers. We stopped in around 5:30pm, went for a small walk with the dogs.
Report Check-InCrowded place day and night but still plenty of space if you don’t need to be next to the beach. ATV during the day but quiet during the night. The beach in front is rocky so be carefull. Restaurant Shade has Wifi but only at restaurant (it doesn’t even reach the road close by neither the parking lot at the beach). It is open 10AM to 8PM but one day, I went at 12:30 and it was closed. Zai, the sushi restaurant, has a sign saying that they don’t have wifi. No cell signal AT&T nor Telcel.
Report Check-Ingreat spot, awesome sushi. the local surfers get pissed if they cannot drive up to the beach so leave them room.
Report Check-InFree. Plenty of space for any size rig. Popular by day with surfers, so lots of vehicles show up, but leave by dusk. Quiet at night with only sound the waves crashing on shore. Balmy by day, cool at night. Very little wind while I was here.
No vendors came by selling things. Two restaurants nearby but didn't try them.
Report Check-InVehicle: Ram Promaster 3500
Large open area with plenty of hard packed sand to drive on. 2wd is fine, for the most part, until you get to the fence line of the glamping campground next door.
Kind of busy with lots of dune buggies and ATVs going by.
Report Check-InStayed two nights here on the parking. Big rig friendly, no need to have a 4WD.
Good surf for intermediate !
If you go eat at the restaurant Shade, you can have the wifi and it will reach the parking lot :D
No telcel

Nice spot to watch surfers and spend the night. Sushi bar next to the arroyo with wifi. Closes at 8. If you drive up on beach be careful as it’s soft so air down. Also, not a place to snorkel. Mainly just chill and relax.
Report Check-InPoint Break lunch spot. Run by Leti who makes awesome ceviche. She also has place to camp. Great spot
Report Check-Inspent a quiet Saturday night here. Some other campers around who surfed the small waves in the morning. It's an 8km unpaved road to get here.
Report Check-InFun surf and plenty of space. On weekends, it’s the location of very loud parties! Sushi place is good but pricey. New tienda around the bend sells water, tortillas, snacks. No wifi, no cell. Do not drive at night as there are cows on the road!
Report Check-InGreat surf. Sushi place is amazing. Order the ceviche. 4x4 to get to palapas but pretty firm sand regardless. Gets busy early and late when surfers come in but not many there actually camping.
Report Check-InGreat beach for surfers. Lots of campers, tents on the beach plus parking lot full of vans and RV's . It was a Saturday night so lots of parties and music. Road from the north is washboard almost all the way and from the south has many washed out areas, take it slow and don't drive after dark and you'll be fine. No cell service.
Report Check-InNot a big fan of this spot. The parking is in the arroyo with a wall of sand that obscures the ocean view. Sand on the beach is soft, didn’t seem many cars driving up there. The beach itself is very steap and waves crash hard I to the sand - would not be fun to swim. We saw a couple of surfers though. The restaurant is closed on Monday and tuesdays.
Report Check-InNice beach. We camped in the arroyo instead of the beach so we didn’t get stuck. Nice place to paddle board. Sushi restaurant has WiFi. No services
Report Check-InBeautiful spot, road was pretty bad from Cabo Pulmo to La Fortuna after a couple of big rains. Beach is 4x4 only for the good spots.
Report Check-InGreat place, camped here one night with 3 other cars. The sushi restaurant was closed but we asked for Beer and coke and nice guy sold it to us :). Access is good also for 2WD. Little windy during the night.
Report Check-InCool little surf break and lots of flat beach to camp for the night. It’s bloody hot in July, but you can stay cool with a few beers and some interesting tequila at the sushi bar right on the beach. Not to mention some of the best sushi and ceviche I’ve ever had, and some really nice people as well. Worth the stop just for a bite to eat. Road is pretty washboardy all the way up past Cabo Pulmo. Don’t let it deter you, it’s beautiful, just take it slow and try not to run over any goats!
