It is a good and quiet place about 4km from the main road, in front of the Bgheno-Noravank Monastery.
There are no limitations for big vehicles, but high clearance and 4x4(?) is recommended.

The place is at least temporary closed. It's occupied by Armenian army. I spoke with a soldier, but he was not able to say, whether the closing is temporary or permanently.
Report Check-In39.387775, 46.360529 is the actual location of the parking area—30m from the monastery. 4x4 not needed, but decent ground clearance is useful on the badly deteriorated long-ago paved road from the highway. The junction for the path from this road to the parking area is signed. The parking and monastery are reasonably litter free, but surrounding areas show that this is a toilet stop for the tourists arriving on vans. There’s a low-flow fountain in the parking area. Very quiet, except for the infrequent(?) vans. Leave enough space for 6m passenger vans to turn around.
