Finally found here a space for the night. 20$ for Landcruiser with two people.
It's quiet expensive for what it is - near the mainroad and noisy. But you can use a nice pool and they have a shower (cold) and toilet. Would only recommend for an "emergency stopp". But the owners are friendly and a nice guard dog. We felt safe, but not the best night because of the street nearby.
Nice pool and garden, pleasant owner. Shower still cold but toilet and shower clean. Now $15 for 2 people and vehicle. Yes the Quito-Guayaquil bypass which the property overlooks is noisy.
