Report Check-InChain Lakes Campground is located in Chain Lakes Provincial Recreation Area, 12 km west and 15 km north of Athabasca on Hwy. 2 then 20 km north on an access road. This small lake is stocked annually, providing a great opportunity to fish from shore, canoe, or electric powered boat.
Report Check-InGreat campground. Potable water, picnics tables and clean pit toilets. Individual campsites don’t have fire pits but there is a communal fire pit in the middle of the campground. There are also nature trails, which was great for the pups.
