It is a mirador with a view over the lagoon. Next to the mine what makes noise all day and night. Also you are close to the highway with noise from the trucks. We did not like it here on a thursdaynight. 3 cars with a lot off people came here with loud music till late.

This place is a gem! It's Friday night and I have the carpark to myself. The walk to the beach is lovely, loo's were locked when I arrived, but the shower works. Noise from the road is minimal in my car. Sunset is amazing and the bird life is great, especially on the beach : )

Not sure if wonderful is a right word. It’s just a parking at the end of an industrial area. A lot of cars coming and going, some kids partying with loud music till around 11pm as well. Good for one night, but just because there’s not really much else close by.

It’s a viewpoint at the end of a street, it’s kept by the mine that you pass by in the street getting here. The mine was forced by the government to keep the wetlands as a nature sanctuary and keep services for the public. Big rig friendly, level, paved. The view is amazing, you can’t access the nature part with your home, but you can park at the view point with amazing scenery. We slept, went about our #rvlife as usual no problem. When you enter the reserve at sea level you have tables with shade and a fire grill. Multiples of this set ups. It has a bathroom but we didn’t use them, no shower, no hot water. Super clean, a lot of trash cans, no where to get water, Wifi or electricity.
Great stop, recommend.

You can have there a nice afternoon and evening before spending the night there (really nice beach). Night was first a little noisy, because there came people in the night. Around 1.30 pm it was silent.
The bathrooms closed at 7 pm and at 9am it was still closed.

Wonderful place with great access to a naturel small parc and a gigantic beach. Felt super safe. Few people at night. Great view and zero facilities

it's a nice place for one night camping, free facility's showers and bathroom on the campsite open all year round in the morning, best than others in Los Vilos

We slept here for one night. Went to ask the museum before, no problem. Possible to use the toilets down on the beach and inside the museum when it is open. Area with lightspots. Nice view ! Some people came to watch the sunset. We were there on a Friday night, heard some people and loud music on the parking lot but only from 1am to 2am. Otherwise it was a quiet night !

Really nice place for the night. Best in Los Vilos. Very clean.

parking lot above the Lagoon. With sunsets and birdwatching! ! At the end of Laguna trail you will have your own beach. Kilometers fine sandy beach.
Restrooms with trinking water.
Big picknick area with a lot of fire places.
Not much noise from the highway.
