Latest Check-Ins

Found a pull off spot just off of the forest service road. Mostly flat. Backed in. Did not hear much from the highway.

Report Check-In

We took the first spot on the right after the 14 day sign. The road has some gravel/rock fill just after, and overall the area is worse for wear after last year's fires. That said, others went up the road and likely found better spots, but we did not want to do any rough riding as we're just here for a quick stop.
No Visible (Verizon) service. 25' RV.

lots of pull overs off the road. we were 44ft truck and trailer and found a flat spot to spend the night. great to park overnight in the winter season.

Report Check-In

Road is currently closed due to fire danger

Report Check-In

We got there in the evening and rolled into the first spot on the left as we were just spending one night to hit Sunset Crater in the morning. Site was absolutely trashed with water bottles, food cans, whiskey bottles and other random items. More than we could pick up and take with us.

Road coming in was very busy with all kinds of traffic to include dump trucks until about 11pm.

Good spot for a night but wouldn't stay longer. Maybe nicer spots further up the road.

Report Check-In

Perfect, and as described. Clearly posted camping permitted, max 14 days. No facilities, no garbage bins, etc. Several spots easily accessible within first 500 metres. Some have fire pits. Still some patchy snow on ground. Quiet!

Report Check-In

A good night sleep. I took site closest to freeway as I came in after dark. trees have some graffiti (peace signs etc) but overall a good quick overnight spot

Report Check-In

Good road, parking among the trees, nice

Report Check-In

Great place . We parked a little close to the hwy but and fire rod was busy

Report Check-In

In the forest. Not a lot noise. Short good gravel road. Potholes to go in some spaces.

Report Check-In

Quiet and scenic. Road fairly good condition. Lots of semi/dump truck use so some washboarding.
