Description

Restaurant just on the edge of Portobelo, we camped in the parking lot for free, we ate at the restaurant, which has amazing fish, Pad Thai, Curry Thai and the Vietnamese spring rolls are to die for. The nice owner also has a single room and a dorm room for rent. $10 for one person, $18 for two people. The sunsets alone should make you want to stay.

Latest Check-Ins

Nice restaurant. More expensive than usual in Panama (13-20$ a meal). We ordered food and then asked to sleep in the parking lot.
The waitress told us her boss whom she has just talked on the phone, said it was 10$ more to stay the night.
We ended up parking in the lot just next to restaurant for free.

Report Check-In

We stayed for one night and felt safe. We didn't want to eat in the restaurant and paid 15 USD for two persons in a van. The bathroom was ok. The owner and staff was very friendly.

Report Check-In

Parked in large lot beside the restaurant in front of the small ship wreck. Free. Very quiet, suitable for any size rig. Free shower if you eat at the restaurant. Food is good, very, very nice people. Do not eat at the pizza place next door. Tiny single person pizza that was raw and had to be tossed out for $7. Great sunsets. We parked here in a 25' Class C.

We walked in and asked straight away if we could camp if we ate something- no problem. In the morning we bought a smoothie and asked for a shower - no problem. Had to pay $1 each for the shower, otherwise free. The Bo Bun was delicious! Staff s super friendly. Owner speaks Spanish, English, French.

Paid $5 to camp for the night. After seeing the cheapest item on the restaurant menu was $12, we decided not to eat there and the waitress became snooty and told us to move our vehicles to the end of the lot immediately. When we asked where the toilets and showers were she said it would cost $5/pp more. We rarely write negative reviews but this place was quite ridiculous.

Report Check-In

Yes, still $ 5 per night. Restaurant was closed for the day. We left the place and found just 75 metres away a bigger parking with more sunshine and space and for free. Nice boondock place close to the little shipwreck.

Report Check-In

$5 per day for motor home , including access to bathroom with cold shower. Electricity available for campers. Power extension needed.

Report Check-In

Great place and friendly owner. Great food and drinks, they even have Pastis (Ricard 51)! We were allowed to camp for free in the parking lot and no naked hippies...

Report Check-In

friendly enough staff. only one private room. shower is cold and iffy. food is fine. pretty good mojitos. expensive for what you get. dogs allowed.

Report Check-In

No longer free, although we ate and drank in the restaurant. We paid $5 to park in the car park. Nice location and great food, but we found the place pretty unfriendly. Staff were rude, wouldnt give our toddler a glass of water, and. there were feral hippy types walking around naked in the restaurant, which scared off a local family who came forlunch. When the internet worked it was fast, but you. need to get them to reset the router.

Report Check-In

Nice open restaurant/bar over the sea. We stayed for free at the parking and ate at the restaurant.
