Description
Nice modest hotel in downtown Chiapa de Corzo, a few blocks from the main square. Only 400 pesos per night for a double bed without A/C but with two fans. Wifi worked great, secure parking right inside the patio of the hotel which fit my pickup truck with plenty of room. Makes a great place to base yourself for a trip up Sumidero Canyon the following day. We went with Grijalva tours right in the main square for 190 pesos per person.

Report Check-In300 pesos la nuit pour deux personnes et notre chienne. Nous avons pu rentrer notre van dans la cour intérieure (1 seule place).
La chambre est spacieuse, le lit est confortable, TV + câble, salle de bain avec douche à température ambiante et toilette propre, énorme ventilateur au plafond + ventilateur sur pied en plus. L’équipe est très sympa, nous avons pu brancher notre van en électricité pour la nuit et garder le frigo à bonne température. Notre chienne a pu dormir dans la chambre sans problème. L’hôtel est bien placé pour visiter le village à pied.
I confirm with the last reviewer except price for a single bed room w/o AC is now 300 pesos. Our 4Runner fit fine. There's only enough parking space for one truck or campervan. The owner and his staff were very nice. Price for the canyon tour is still 190pp.
Report Check-Innice enough, friendly, would have been quiet if there was no fireworks all night! 250 pesos for non aircon room which was nice except for the terrible bed....springs sticking in your back! recommended but check the bed! Ideal for moto parking.
