Chile
Station inside of hotel grounds....same prices as rest of Chile. One way streets tricky to navigate. Only place to buy gas...nearest other stations 50 and 100 miles away...so get it here. Open 24 hrs day.
Has hoses for rinsing and 97 octane which might be better for driving at high altitude.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The path for the station inside the hotel was closed. At the hotel they tell us to go at the other new Copec. Maybe this one is close now
Report Check-InFilled up early in the morning with diesel. Quick service but the attendant, wearing sunglasses so not sure if that makes it Bismarck as mentioned in a previous post, tried to charge us double! It was spotted and as it's chip and pin, he can't take the card machine and hide the amount. Be careful! Price wise, similar to Calama. Google directed us correctly.
Report Check-InOnly Copec in the area for the moment but they are building a bigger one. Most of the staff is nice but one tried to overcharge me 1000 pesos. Make sure to check that the pump says 0 before they start filling your tank and double check the total.
They let us fill water for free.

Report Check-InUpdate- fueled up again and noted that Bismark (wearing glasses) was the one who tried to scam me. Elias (no glasses) didn’t play any games.
Report Check-InAccepts cards but be very careful. I have fueled up twice and TWICE the same attendant has tried to overcharge me. Luckily I canceled the transaction each time. Be sure to hold the credit card machine. He tries to take it from you. Double check that the pump starts at zero and that the amount you authorize matches that on the pump. Buyer beware!
Report Check-InCopec gas station where you can fuel up with every type of gas and diesel. Same price as Antofagasta and Calama.
Just follow your GPS as it's inside a resort.
We were also able to fill up our water tank for free (but we bought chocolate bars to thank them).
Really tricky to find and the street is very narrow! But price is good and it’s a normal copec station. They are building one more easy to access.
We was able to fill also our water tank here for a small tip!
Report Check-InOnly proper gas station in area, but don’t trust mapping to get there. Instead follow big green signs “estación de servició”, or later the before mentioned small brown wooden sign “combustible Copec”.
Report Check-InFuel was a little more expensive than other places in Chile. Definitely hidden away, when you're driving along thinking 'where is this place?', turn into the hotel, follow the road round to the right.
Report Check-InHas 93, 95, 97 and diesel. Still difficult to navigate as some streets are not accessible.
Report Check-InGood place to fill some (non-potable water). Tip: try to find the wooden signs with 'combustible' or copec on it to find the place. We first used maps.me to navigatr, but there are a lot of pedestrian and one way streets only in San pedro so a little hard to find, but once you see the signs it's easy.
Report Check-InFirst petrol station in Chile or last if you are moving to Uyuni.
It is possible to compare the prices all over the country on this site: www.bencinaenlinea.cl
Nice folks, good service. Good place to buy 10L and 20L plastic fuel carriers before heading to Bolivia.
Report Check-Inour maps.me was lost and drove us crazy. in case you need precisions, it's in Hotel San Pedro de Atacama, the street is calle Toconao 460
Report Check-InRandom but true! Drive into the hotel grounds and follow the copec sign.....
Report Check-InYou can also fill your water tank 4 free. Non potable
